Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy A37 5G and Galaxy A57 5G, expanding its midrange A-series lineup with noticeable upgrades in performance, cameras, and AI-driven features. The new devices continue Samsung’s strategy of bringing premium-like capabilities to the affordable smartphones while maintaining a familiar design language.
Performance Gets a Noticeable Boost
The biggest upgrades this year come under the hood. The Galaxy A57 is powered by Samsung’s newer Exynos 1680 chipset, delivering improved both CPU and GPU performance, while the Galaxy A37 features the Exynos 1480, offering solid and smooth performance.
Camera Improvements
Samsung has kept its camera formula consistent but refined it where needed. Both phones feature a 50MP main sensor, paired with ultra-wide and macro lenses. The key difference lies in the ultra-wide camera, although Samsung A57 gets a higher-resolution 12MP sensor compared to the A37’s 8MP unit.

The Galaxy A37 is considered as the more affordable option, starting around $449, while the Galaxy A57 sits higher in the lineup with prices going up to $699 depending on configuration.
