PakBrief respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our contributors to do the same. This page explains our policy for addressing claims of copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

Our Commitment

We do not knowingly publish content that infringes on the copyrighted work of others. All images, text, and other material we use are either originally created, properly licensed, used under fair use principles, or credited to their source.

Filing a Takedown Notice

If you believe content on PakBrief infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to contact@pakbrief.com that includes:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  3. Identification of the material you claim is infringing, including the specific URL(s) on PakBrief where it appears.
  4. Your contact information, including your name, address, phone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

Our Process

Upon receiving a valid takedown notice, we will review it and, where warranted, remove or disable access to the material in question in a timely manner, and notify the person who posted or is responsible for the content.

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error or as a result of misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to contact@pakbrief.com that includes:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, phone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the courts in your area.

Repeat Infringers

We reserve the right to remove content and, where appropriate, restrict or terminate access for contributors found to be repeat infringers.
