ISLAMABAD: Nishat Group is preparing to launch two new iCAUR SUVs in Pakistan this year. The company plans to introduce the iCAUR V23 and V27 as it expands its presence in the country’s new-energy vehicle market.
The two SUVs use different powertrain technologies. The V23 is a fully electric SUV, while the V27 uses a range-extended electric vehicle (REEV) system.
Both models have already reached Pakistan. PakWheels recently received access to the vehicles from Nishat for an early review ahead of their expected local launch.
iCAUR V23 Specs and Range
The iCAUR V23 is a compact all-electric SUV. International markets offer the model with rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.
Nishat plans to bring the dual-motor all-wheel-drive version to Pakistan. The V23 uses an 81.76 kWh NMC battery.
Its two electric motors produce 208 hp and 292 Nm of torque. The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds.
iCAUR claims a 430 km range under the NEDC cycle. The V23 also has 210 mm of ground clearance, a 43-degree approach angle and a 41-degree departure angle.
The SUV can wade through up to 600 mm of water. It also offers six driving modes, regenerative braking and vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality.

The V23 comes with six airbags and Level 2 ADAS. Its main safety and driver-assistance features include:
- Adaptive cruise control
- Autonomous emergency braking
- Blind-spot detection
- Lane departure prevention
- Traffic jam assist
- Electronic stability control
- Traction control
- Front and rear parking sensors
- 540-degree 3D camera system
iCAUR V27 Specs and Range
The larger iCAUR V27 uses a range-extended electric powertrain. Electric motors drive the wheels, while a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine generates electricity to extend the vehicle’s range.
The V27 uses a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system. It combines a 150 kW front motor with a 185 kW rear motor.
Together, the motors produce 449 hp and 505 Nm of torque. The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds.
A 34.31 kWh battery provides a claimed 150 km electric range. The claimed combined range reaches 995 km.
The V27 supports DC fast charging. It can charge the battery from 20% to 80% in around 30 minutes.
The SUV also offers several on-road and off-road driving modes. Other features include adaptive damping and advanced traction control.
The V27 can tow up to 1,600 kg with a braked trailer and 750 kg with an unbraked trailer.
iCAUR V27 Safety Features
The V27 also gets six airbags and Level 2 ADAS.

iCAUR Brand Enters Pakistan
iCAUR is a Chery new-energy vehicle brand. Its lineup focuses on electric and range-extended electric SUVs.
Nishat Group is bringing the brand to Pakistan. The group already handles Omoda and Jaecoo in the local market. PakWheels has also confirmed that Nishat provided access to the V23 and V27 for an early review in Pakistan.
Nishat’s Omoda and Jaecoo operations have also expanded quickly. The company reached 10,000 locally assembled Omoda and Jaecoo vehicles in August 2026, around eight months after starting local production.
iCAUR V23 and V27 Launch in Pakistan
Nishat plans to launch the iCAUR V23 and V27 in Pakistan this year. The arrival of both vehicles shows that the company has moved beyond initial plans and is preparing for the next stage of the local launch.
However, Nishat has not announced official prices or a confirmed launch date for either SUV.
The company is expected to announce local variants, pricing and booking details closer to the commercial launch.
The V23 will target buyers looking for a fully electric SUV, while the V27 will offer electric driving with a petrol-powered range extender. The two models will add new options to Pakistan’s growing new-energy vehicle market.
