The OnePlus Nord 6 is expected to launch early week of the next month, as a successor of OnePlus Nord 5. This detail is shared on X by Yogesh Brar.
Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 Chipset
One of the most important leak is that OnePlus Nord 6 uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. If this is correct this will be the big performance upgrade as compared to OnePlus Nord 5.
A Geekbench listing that appeared earlier also suggested that the phone could use the same chipset. Early benchmark results show that the processor may offer about 26 percent better multicore CPU performance than the previous model.
With this upgrade, the OnePlus Nord 6 could become one of the most powerful smartphones in the mid-range market.
Hardware Similar to OnePlus Turbo 6
Reports suggest that the OnePlus Nord 6 may share several hardware features with the OnePlus Turbo 6, which was previously launched in China.
Based on that model, the Nord 6 could come with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that offers 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. The display is also expected to support 165Hz high-frame-rate gaming, providing a smoother experience for mobile gamers.
For connectivity, the phone may include a self-developed G1 e-sports Wi-Fi chip, designed to improve network stability and reduce lag during online gaming.
Battery and Charging
The OnePlus Turbo 6 comes with a large 9000mAh Glacier Battery and supports 80W wired fast charging.
However, it is still unclear if the global version of the OnePlus Nord 6 will include the same battery capacity. Some reports suggest that the global model may use a smaller battery due to regulatory requirements in certain markets.
Price Expectations
The leaks suggest that the OnePlus Nord 6 will come with higher price then OnePlus Nord 5. As it contain much upgrades and more high performance chip and hardware.
However, the actual price of the phone is not reveal, it is expected that it will come with higher price.
