ISLAMABAD: The federal government has significantly increased the price of kerosene oil as part of recent adjustments in petroleum product prices, amid rising global oil prices and ongoing regional tensions affecting international energy markets.
According to the official notification released by Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGARA), The price of kerosine oil is increased by Rs.130/litre, pushing it to Rs.319/litre. This hike is the part of weekly revisions as goverment respond to increase in volatility in crude oil price.
PM Shahbaz Shareeff said that they will keep the price of petroleum products remain unchanged, expect increase in global oil price.
In this situation the price of petrol and diesel remains unchanged. Petrol is standing at Rs. 321.17 /litre and diesel at Rs. 335.86/litre.
