General Asim Munir visited Kurram and celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr 2026 with soldiers and officers. He offered Eid prayers with the troops and prayed for Pakistan’s peace, stability, and prosperity.
He met the troops and shared Eid greetings with them. He praised their dedication, high morale, and professionalism in protecting the country. Inter-Services Public Relations reported his remarks.
He praised the bravery and strong spirit of the soldiers. He highlighted their success in Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq, which targets terrorist networks and promotes peace in border areas.
He said terrorists cannot threaten or harm Pakistan’s security from across the border in Afghanistan. He stressed that Afghan soil must not support any hostile activities against Pakistan.
He credited recent successes to the sacrifices of Pakistan’s martyrs and the determination of its soldiers. He expressed pride in the troops and reaffirmed the armed forces’ commitment to defend the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The Corps Commander Peshawar welcomed him warmly when he arrived in Kurram.
